STAMFORD
GRAMMAR - SLC Kindergarten
SCHOOL HOURS
The formal teaching hours (by native English speaking Teachers) of Stamford
Grammar SLC Kindergarten are from 9:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (except
Tet Holiday and National Holidays). Students may arrive as early as 7 am and
leave as late as 6 pm. which facilitate more time for play or to attend our
enrichment programs.
The attending hours are :
Half day students : 7:00am - 12:00am or 11:30am - 5:00pm
Full day students : 7:00am - 5:00pm
CLASSES
Our Kindergarten offers four distinct programs to meet the needs of every
age group. Each class is conducted by
one Foreign Teacher and two qualified Vietnamese Teachers.
Age group:
INFANT (RABBIT) 18 months to 36 months.
NURSERY (KOALA) 3 to 4 years old
KINDERGARTEN 1 (DOLPHIN) 4 to 5 years old
KINDERGARTEN 2 (TIGER) 5 to 6 years old
CURRICULUM
Stamford Grammar SLC Kindergarten is an English Language Kindergarten
conducted by native English
speaking teachers. English speaking environment will nurture students in
both listening/speaking and
reading/writing in English. This is a major contributing factor in the way
children learn the English language at our Kindergarten.
Children at Stamford Grammar learn through play based curricula centered
around childrens interests and abilities.
communicating with other children and adults
exploring language(s) listening to and creating original stories
making friends and sharing equipment
observing, reflecting on and speaking about their own experiences
observing plants and animals
experiment with sand, earth, water and other natural materials
planning, problem solving, trying out new ideas and asking questions
art, drama, music and movement experiences
warm support from adults who provide sensitive guidance and understanding

In the morning
7:00 am - 8:00 am Greeting child and morning exercise
8:00 am - 8:30 am Breakfast
8:30 am - 9:00 am Play based learning activities with local teacher
9:00 am - 9:30 am Combined movements and songs class
9:30 am - 10:00 am Class conducted by foreign teacher
10:00 am - 10:30 am Morning snack
10:30 am - 11:00 am Class conducted by foreign teacher
11:00 am - 12:00 pm Lunch
In the afternoon
12:00 pm - 2-00 pm Nap time
1:30 pm - 2:15 pm Class conducted by foreign teacher
2:15 pm - 2:45 pm Afternoon snack
2:45 pm - 3:15 pm Outdoor activities with foreign teacher
3:15 pm - 3:45 pm Washing up
3:45 pm - 4:30 pm Outdoor playing / indoor activities
4:30 pm - 5:00 pm Returning home
