At the end of the school year, children will be able to:  

  Be able to read commonly used words and simple sentences
  Be able to recognize and write both upper and lower case letters
  Write own first and family name
  Build and use a working vocabulary to describe analyze and categorize
  Have experience in speaking in front of others
  Demonstrate skill and confidence in using art and craft techniques and equipment
  Sort objects by similarities, counts and recognizes numbers in a set
  Tell Time
  Ordinal Numbers (1st, 2nd etc)
  Simple Fractions and value of money
  Operate simple equipment and carry out simple experiments
  Come up with their own solutions and reasons or explanation
  Investigate and gather information
